In Memory

Jeff Clark

Jeffery W. Clark, 18, died August 17,1992, from injuries sustained in an auto accident.

Born May 11, 1974 in Salt Lake City, UT to Jack W. and LeAnn Poulsen Clark.  Graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1992.

Jeffery wouldn't want a sticky obituary. He lived each day to the fullest because he knew that was the day he had.  He shared his life vigorously with lots of close friends.  He impacted so many people because he knew what it took to make friends and be a friend, and he did both.

He will be missed most of all by his mother and father; brother Kelly; surrogate mother, Nancy and his Grampa "Pete".  Also survived by grandparents, Vean and Ella Clark; Keith and Alice Poulsen; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and more friends than we could begin to name.  Preceded in death by grandmother, Mavis Poulsen.

Funeral services Friday, August 21, 1992, 10 a.m. at Red Butte Gardens and Arboretum on Red Butte Canyon Road.  Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.

Goff Mortuary, funeral directors.

**This was printed in the paper on the 1 year anniversary:

A year ago today the lives of so many people were changed because of what we lost. No more of your contagious smile, your silly giggle, or those hairy legs.

The hope burns strong that time will change the emphasis away from what we LOST on August 17,1992 and towards what we HAD for the 18 years you were a part of our lives.

The legacy fo Jeffery will live on forever. The "live and let live" philosphy, the "use but don't abuse" environmentalism, the "live every moment to the fullest" vibrancy, and the "work hard, play hard" ethics you tried to teach us, those can never be taken away from us. FLY LIKE AN EAGLE SCRUCH, We miss you!

I am so grateful to of known and been with Alan Furstenau and Jeff Clark at their passing August 17th, 1992. They loved and lived life to the fullest, and loved all their friends and family. Hillcrest wouldn't be the same without them!!
